2009 Harmony Festival - Santa Rosa, CA

In June 2009, Emmet Brady was invited to host the Harmony Hall Stage at the Harmony Festival in Santa Rose, CA. Celebrating 31 years of health, consciousness and creativity, the Festvial passion and drive to manifest health and harmony for all, is still alive and thriving at this year’s Harmony Festival.

The highlight of the weekend for the PMAG team was introducing and "performing" with the ever-radiant Ms. Joan Baez. Here is a splendid back-stage silhouette of Joan in a cermonial dance.

The Harmony Hall had 3 evenings of fantastic events, including two night of "Legba's Light: A Tribute to the Spirit of Miles Davis." This distinguished group of musicians comprised of Miles’ band alumni, jazz legends and contemporary musical luminaries will be collaborating in celebration of the creative spirit of the revolutionary trumpeter, composer, and the most celebrated figure in contemporary jazz history.

On Sunday was the Sacred Sunday Benefit Concert, The uniquely progressive Sunday Sacred Show and After Party programming is the Harmony Festival’s way to honor and celebrate World Peace Day. It is being produced to honor HARMONY’S collective intention to make a statement in support of world peace and religious tolerance around the world. The show is a fundraiser for ACE Harmony’s non profit foundation and proceeds will go towards funding this year’s nominated charities Next Aid and The Women’s Earth Alliance, for their work with children and environmental and socio-economic challenges in Africa.

2007-2008 International Yoga Therapy Conference - Marin, CA

In 2007 and 2008, Emmet worked as Strategic Development Coordinator for the IYTC - International Yoga Therapy Conference. For centuries, the science of Yoga has been used to enhance physical and emotional well being. Now, the therapeutic potential of yoga is being rediscovered in the modern world. When yoga is practiced with therapeutic intention -- Yoga Therapy -- it can prevent, or aid recovery from, physical and mental ailments. IYTC is a forum that explores the specific and profound ways in which yoga can aid in maintaining good health or recovery from illness.

The event also fills a vital role in public health and wellness education, bridging the gap between the yoga and the medical establishment, a much needed connection. Partnerships with the National Institutes of Health R&W, Sutter Health Care, Whole Foods Markets and the American Cancer Society were crafted to help disseminate the ancient teachings and the modern applications.

IYTC brought together some of the top names in Yoga and research from around the world, including Rama Jyoti Vernon, Larry Payne, Sat Bir Singh Khalsa, Ananda Bahalayogi Bhavanani, Anodea Judith, and Nischala Joy Devi.
